Increased Sales Drive Radarsign™ Relocation and Expansion

July 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Multiple, high-volume DOT sales—single orders of 30 or more signs—is just one of the benchmarks of increased momentum behind Radarsign’s™ 3Q move to a larger facility and plans to hire new employees.  

Radarsign was founded in 2004 by three Atlanta men—Ken Bass, a former Georgia State Trooper turned high-tech business manager; Barry Ward, a laser-optics, electrography and microprocessor engineer; and Charlie Robeson, a sales and marketing executive—who live in neighborhoods where speed signs were often ignored, causing their communities to be unsafe at times.  Just eight years later, this is Radarsign’s third expansion due to increasing customer demand and market expansion.

The new corporate headquarters will be 15 percent larger than the current location and will accommodate a projected 25 percent growth in staff.  Radarsign driver feedback signs are engineered and manufactured in the USA—at this location—so the state-of-the-art facility will feature an expanded: warehouse, manufacturing and assembly room, testing arena, office space and more.  

The move also facilitates a company-wide migration to leading-edge, cloud-based technologies and solutions. The new layout will allow Radarsign to more than double current production without having to expand again.
