Creatures of Serendipity launch 'Nearly There' their first interactive iPad book app for children.

July 12, 2012 - PRLog -- With its exquisite drawings, catchy tune, exciting, and innovative narration,‘Nearly There’ takes you on an unforgettable journey. This is a story for the child in all of us, in traditional print form with CD and as an amazing interactive book app for iPad. ‘Nearly There’ was unveiled at Grove House, Schull, the two main characters of the story, Budley and Bishop (horses) were on the front lawn, along with the authors, Johanna Connor and Gabrielle Byrne. Brian Lalor, Editor of The Encyclopedia of Ireland spoke about "how the app took the story to a completely different level and that the possibilities for the imagination are endless." Special guests Colin Vearncombe who narrates the story and Maurice Seezer and Fergus O’Farrell who composed and recorded the perfect song 'On the Road to Nearly There' were also there. Also in attendance were The Polish Ambassador to Ireland His Excellency Marcin Nawrot and his wife Ursula who drove to Schull for the day.

'NEARLY THERE' is a tale of two neglected horses, Budley and Bishop, who escape one stormy night and go on an exciting journey, meeting mysterious strangers, overcoming obstacles and undergoing zany trials. Along the way, they encounter other animals all unhappy with their lot. Once freed from human captivity these friends embark upon a quest for fulfillment, seemingly defenceless they thrive in the face of adversity. On their meanderings, music and song guide them towards their goal.
