In a continuation from the previous post about Homeowners and other customers receive their e-statements, the following explains the process as to how how the automated system we have put into place works...
As a management company, we leave the ability for the customer to opt into the E-Statement program. This is a huge benefit for both parties involved because we do not want to force our clients into something they may not want, however as a management company, it is our responsibility to be able to accurate explain how the system works to educate our clients on the benefits to the e-statement program. When the homeowner receives their statement, there is a short and concise message explaining the website to sign up at, along with a registration ID that is unique to each customer. The customer will then enter their registration ID and choose a user name in password as you do with any other website such as Yahoo or Google.
