Modular Building Company Bucks the Trend

Wintech Modular is owned by father and son dynamic duo Keith and Stephen Winter. Stephen handles most of the day to day running of the company with Keith providing input as the resident engineering expert. Keith has traveled the world as a project manager and has been involved in modular buildings in one form or another for many many years.

Stephen Winter said “we have seen a steep upturn in the number of enquiries we are getting and the interesting thing is we are seeing an ever widening of the diversity of types of buildings. We have anything from Toilet blocks, school buildings, full office blocks as well as our bread and butter work in the supply of site cabins and anti vandal cabins to the construction industry.”

It seems that the future is bright as Wintech continue to grow in a supposedly down economy. Not only is there more jobs coming in the company is looking at expanding its operation and is looking to hire another modular construction operative in the very near future. When asked what sort of skills would be needed to apply for this position Stephen Winter replied “ We obviously need someone with previous construction skills but we also need a problem solver as we have so many different requests we have to develop new ways of working as we go. We are looking for someone who can work under their own initiative without having to be told what to do. At this moment in time we have a good team and will be looking for someone who is at that same high standard.
