On Wednesday, June 27, Candidate for Washington’s 2nd Congressional District, Republican Dan Matthews, will hold two press conferences to speak about our country’s health care system:

Now more than ever, voters must know where their leaders stand on this crucial issue. From the very beginning, Mr. Rick Larsen answered the legitimate concerns of individuals with condescension and wild-eyed promises. He swore that Obamacare would cover the uninsured. Yet, several million remain uninsured today. He swore that Obamacare would cut our health care premiums. Local businesses are letting go of workers, or remain unable to hire new workers, because these premiums are skyrocketing. He swore that Obamacare would not run over budget. In one year alone, it has ballooned 111 billion dollars, surpassing all previous projections. From the very beginning, Rick Larsen and his party forced a government takeover of healthcare over the voiced opposition of most voters.

On Wednesday morning Mr. Matthews will speak briefly and take questions about his efforts to ensure our health care needs are met. He will also unveil his position regarding the repeal of Obamacare and his plan to replace it with a consumer-centered approach.
