Music Industry Parties for a Purpose at DJs After Party Scholarship Mixer hosted by DJ Schemes

June 25, 2012 - PRLog -- (Bowie, Maryland) - Core DJ/Shade 45 DJ Schemes hosted the encore edition of the DJs After Party on Wednesday, June 13 at AfterHours Recording Studio. The second installment of the mixer, which raises scholarship funds for the Ascend Music and Media Academy, attracted approximately 60 participants with prominent influence from the DMV music community. Attendees enjoyed live music by DJ Schemes, media interviews, studio tours, a photo shoot, as well as complimentary food and beverages.

In addition, over a dozen artists wrote and rhymed original verses to "Amen" by Meek Mill, which DJ Schemes selected for his track on the DJs After Party Compilation Mix Tape.
