Amateur Karters Your Country Needs You...

June 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Do you see yourself as the fastest thing on four wheels? If so, well now’s your chance to prove your metal as Red Bull team up with TeamSport Go Karting to hold the much anticipated Red Bull World Kart Fight 2012.

From the 1st June - 30th September amateur go karters across the country are called upon to line-up and take part in this high octane event. Qualifications will be taking place at local tracks around the country - with over 30 locations available including London, Brighton, Bristol and Cardiff.

The competition is open to everyone, with entrants permitted to enter as many times as they like. However only the fastest 60 qualifiers from the local heats will be invited to take part in the UK Final at Buckmore Park on the 27th October 2012.

Dom Gaynor from TeamSport go karting centres commented: ‘‘this really is an amazing competition and opportunity for one of the country’s thousands of karters to prove themselves as the best, under the eye of Red Bull, who know a thing or two about racing.”

So what are the prizes? Karters finishing in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the UK Finals win the once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in an Experience Day at the Red Bull Racing HQ in Milton Keynes, not to mention the chance to represent their country in the Red Bull World Kart Fight Grand Final.

Previously a national competition, 2012 is the first year the competition has gone global. In December the winners from each participating country will race in the Red Bull World Kart Fight Grand Final to represent their country and battle it out to be crowned the ultimate Red Bull World Kart Fight champion.
