How do You Learn to Throw a Frizbee

Throwing a Frizbee well requires practice. But mainly it is a fun sport to enjoy.

June 21, 2012 - PRLog -- 1.   Go for a good quality one that has a thickness and strength to it. A cheap one will not handle well and will break easily.
2.   Find a large enough space to be able to run a good distance. There should be no trees or any obstacles such as houses and wires.
3.   Take the rim of the Frisbee in your fingers. Hold it firmly but gently. Curl your wrist slightly back towards your body, as you hold the Frisbee. Your elbow should be pointing up and outwards. You are going to be performing a flicking motion as if your hand is a small spring, so bringing back the hand now is readying you for the forward thrusting motion coming up in a moment. Aim at your target.
4.   Straighten the arm and as your arm is almost fully extended, flick the wrist and release the Frisbee out towards the target. You should release the Frisbee at around your hip height.
5.   Do not draw your arm too far to the right or the Frisbee will not be directed well.
6.   When throwing your Frizbee do not use all your power. It takes a firm throw but not a hard throw.
