Linium Staffing Comes Out on Top of Qualifying Round for Albany Area Social Madness Contest

June 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Albany based Linium Staffing showed the Albany area exactly how social media can change the world for a child in the capital region in a meaningful way. As part of its campaign to win the Albany Area Business Review’s Social Madness competition presented by Capital One Spark Business, Linium Staffing also helped to raise funds for a philanthropic project close to its heart – the Maddie’s Mark Foundation (www.MaddiesMark.org).  As part of its social media campaign Linium Staffing donated money per-click to raise more than $800 thus far for Maddie’s Mark.  Miriam Dushane, Linium Staffing Branch Manager commented, “It is exciting to put our Linium Staffing social network to good use and raise money for a great cause. We came out on top for the initial company seeding that ended June 18. The Social Madness contest is a corporate media challenge that measures the growth of a company's social presence and creates healthy competition between local businesses to see who can garner the most votes. Companies are split according to size – small, medium and large, to account for differences in networks. Participants leverage their social influence and vote for their favorite local businesses on The Business Journals' Social Madness page - http://www.bizjournals.com/albany/exclusives/socialmadness.  The local Albany competition runs through July. The winners then progress through stages and eventually to a national level with winners announced on September 11, 2012
