Rheti Inc closes Seed Round to Revolutionize App Building in Smart Phones

LOS GATOS, CALIF, - Rheti Inc, the creators of an application that enables anyone to create beautiful, fully functional mobile applications directly on their mobile phone, today announced the close of its Seed Round of $50,000. The investment will be used to complete development of the Beta release.

“Just as Wordpress disrupted the market by making it possible for anyone to create a website, Rheti is disrupting the app development market by enabling anyone to easily build an app on their phones”, said Juan Porras, CEO of Rheti. “We’re at a unique point in this business where we can lead the democratization of app development in so many ways and we’re very happy that we found such a great investor group who shares our passion and insight.”

Rheti has been a part of Groundwork Labs, an accelerator in Durham, NC started in February of this year.  “The support we’ve received from Groundwork Labs in the creation of our business has been critical for us attracting new investment”, said Porras.  “Rheti is the first of our companies to receive angel investment”, said John Austin, Director of Groundwork Labs, “Juan and his team have worked hard on their idea and we look forward to seeing their product.”
