Nature Bio- Foods Ltd. has supported FFF to restructure its certified Organic farmer members group
Nature Bio- Foods Ltd. has supported Fair Farming Foundation Gurukulnarsan, Uttrakhand to restructure its Producer Executive Body, comprising its certified Organic farmer members.
A number of groups are formed to carry out the work operations in a more efficient way and to streamlined the proper flow of information.
Nature Bio-Foods ltd. is going to provide the training to Producer Executive Body (organic farmer members) on their functioning and responsibilities considering the guidelines of the fair trade along with the organic farming practises.
Mr. Abhijeet Bhosale (G. Secretary, FFF) informed that they have formed 15 groups from 74 villages, then a producer executive body was formed through the democratic elections. Further he said that we are happy with the progress, now we have 22 farmer members elected for the producer executive body.
Nature Bio- Foods Ltd. (NBFL) has signed a written agreement with the PEB to assist the registered producers in reaching a level of organization, that is able to comply with the existing generic fair-trade standards for small producer organizations.
Tapan Ray (President, FFF) said that we believe in sustainable livelihood development and we are providing a scalable model that ensures the congruence of economic, social and environmental interests.
FFF is providing the farmers know-how on organic farming, and a assurance to buy back the produce directly from the farmer through Nature Bio-Foods ltd.
Amit Singh (Lead CSR, NBFL) said that we are sure that the initiative taken by NBFL under its CSR programme is going to empower the farmers and will develop leadership qualities in them.
Also, we are planning to implement strong measures to stop child labour and follow ILO conventions on child labour and forced labour.
