Father's Day in Bergen County: Saks Fifth Avenue in Hackensack Gives Back
Saks Fifth Avenue- The Shops at Riverside is hosting a charitable Father’s Day shopping event from Thursday, June 14th to Saturday, June 16th to support The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Annual Appeal to Fund Prostate Cancer Research.

For every tie and pocket square purchased, Saks Fifth Avenue will donate 5% of sales to fund prostate cancer research. The store will feature an extensive assortment of ties, bowties, and pocket squares, from which customers can find the ideal Father’s Day gift and contribute to the cause.

“The Saks Fifth Avenue Father’s Day Event pays tribute to the wonderful men and fathers in our community,” says Michele Thurber. “We proudly support Memorial Sloan- Kettering’s prostate cancer research. With any neckwear purchase, customers will have the opportunity to give to their fathers in two ways: with a gorgeous gift from Saks and a donation toward better health.”

For the event, a distinctive assortment of neckwear will be available in Bergen featuring printed silkscreen, solids, seasonal ties, the return of conversational keepsakes, and pocket squares, from over a dozen designer brands.

Father's Day 5K Run in Paramus
The Rebuilding Together of Bergen County Father's Day 5K Run and 2K Walk will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at Saddle River County Park, Dunkerhook Pavilion, in Paramus, New Jersey.

This event features a flat, fast and scenic course in one of Bergen County's prettiest parks. There will be age-group awards, refreshments and other race-day amenities.

Race-day registration starts at 6:30 am. The 5K starts at 8:00 am and the walk at 8:30 am.
