Everyone Welcome at Newton Abbot Racecourse Ladies’ Day

June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Ladies’ Day – the most flamboyant day in the racing calendar – is set to return later this month for the St Austell Brewery’s Ladies’ Day at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Tuesday 26th June.

Hot on the heels of Royal Ascot the previous week, Newton Abbot is offering a more affordable and accessible experience for horseracing fans in the South West.

The racecourse is keen to emphasise that all racegoers, regardless of gender or ticket price band, have an equal opportunity to enjoy the spectacle that is Ladies’ Day and compete for the highly-coveted ‘Best Dressed’ titles.

Despite the name, both ladies and gents are invited to enjoy Ladies’ Day and event sponsors St Austell Brewery have provided an unforgettable prize for the Best Dressed Gent competition to encourage the gents to compete in the fashion stakes – a day’s brewing with the 2012 Regional Brewer of the Year.

Patrick Masterson, Managing Director at Newton Abbot Racecourse said: “Ladies’ Day is always one of the most highly-anticipated fixtures of the racing season.”

“Once again we’ve taken steps to ensure as many people as possible can enjoy their day with friends and family, despite the continued financial hard times.”

Ladies’ Day will take place at Newton Abbot Racecourse on Tuesday 26th June, with the first race starting at 6:30pm.
