June 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Heidelberg, Germany - The problem of locking down Apple's most recent MacBook Air models has been solved by German Apple lovers - again. After more than one year of designing, prototyping and testing, the new security bracket was released yesterday.

The new "macBracket" model, like its predecessor, is made of steel alloy and can be used with all cable locks that fit the standard Kensington security slot. It is compatible with all MacBook Air models released in 2010 and 2011.

"It was an extremely tough task to design a security bracket for the newer MacBook Air models. The unconventional shape of the MacBook Air hinge posed a big challenge, and we had to go through many different design ideas and numerous prototyping stages" says Tom Ziehl, owner and founder of
