Campus Management Group & Campusworks To Begin New Community At Virginia Tech

June 8, 2012 - PRLog -- BLACKSBURG, VA - Campus Management Group (CMG), a Blacksburg-based student housing developer and property management company, and CampusWorks Construction & Development (CW), a Charlotte-based student housing developer and builder, will begin construction of a new 224 bed, class A, student housing community in June 2012 at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University®.  

Knollwood Apartments will be built on an 8 acre tract located across from the Virginia Tech® Corporate Research Center and the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Class A community will offer a highly amenitized clubhouse and swimming pool.  

CMG and CampusWork’s experience in student housing and alignment of interests, for property management and construction, will deliver the new community for the start of fall semester in 2013.  It will be the 16th asset for Campus Management Group throughout the New River Valley, and the first for CampusWorks.  CampusWorks and Campus Management Group will focus on strategic locations in growth markets to acquire, develop, build and manage student housing communities.
