Tribune Company Leveraging Agilis Systems Delivery Verification Solution

Agilis, a long-term partner with Tribune, is providing delivery, tracking and verification services for three of the company’s newspapers including the Orlando Sentinel, Baltimore Sun and the Chicago Tribune.
The Agilis Delivery Verification System gives publishers and distribution companies a powerful software platform that uses GPS technology along with robust mapping features to provide delivery verification for TMC & Sunday Select products, magazines and advertising flyers. The system meets growing demand from advertisers for data confirming distribution and delivery.
A new addition to the Agilis offering is functionality to address the need for Quality Control (QC)/Audit activities. With the new functionality, companies can send out follow behind QC teams to validate delivery including GPS time stamps (with addresses), photo capture at each location and real-time reporting.

Driving the trend are the twin issues of rising costs and growing uncertainty regarding postal service days of delivery.
