The Commencement and A Graduate's Journey Focus on Uplifting Graduates

The Commencement asks graduates to focus not on “what you’re going to be when you grow up,” but rather a higher calling of “who you choose to be and how you choose to live your life.” Will premiere on iTunes June 1, 2012.

May 30, 2012 - PRLog -- New York, NY – The Commencement season is typically filled with excitement and family celebrations acknowledging the accomplishments of our graduates.  For graduates, it is potentially a nerve wracking time of uncertainty and insecurity.  A time of transition, change and awkward questions from family and relatives.  For many graduates there are many questions that they simply do not know how to answer.  Frankly, many of the adults asking these questions haven’t answered them successfully either.  “What’s next?’ or “What are you going to do?”

Author, Kevin L. McCrudden, is the only motivational and leadership speaker in America to ever have a day of recognition passed by The United States Congress acknowledging the importance of “motivation and inspiration” in our daily lives.  January 2nd of every year is National Motivation & Inspiration Day©.  McCrudden established the date after the tragic events of 9-11-01 stated, “National Motivation & Inspiration Day is about helping people to “take action to make things happen, toward becoming the very best U that U can be.”

“The Commencement,” released in cooperation with Made for Success, Inc., is focused specifically on graduates and provides profound guidance and thought provoking suggestions, such as, the most important question graduates should be asking themselves is not “what they are going to do when they grow up, but rather who they choose to be and how they choose to live.”  McCrudden states that the answer to these questions transcend what they will do when they grow up and can be their guiding light of how they choose to live their lives, regardless of what they do for a living.

Bryan Heathman, President of Made for Success, states “We are enthused about working with Kevin McCrudden, whose audiobook release “The Commencement” will help motivate students to think and act strategically as they interview for jobs, get hired and enter the workforce.   Kevin’s success in working with the US Congress to establish National Motivation Day is a prime example of how students can accomplish exceptional goals by setting their mind on a prize and following through with action.”

“The Commencement” audiobook is a follow up to McCrudden’s first book, “U ~ Who Are U?” where he introduces his “21st Century Multidimensional Hierarchy of Needs,” which is considered the most significant addition to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in 60 years.  Dr. Maslow’s work is considered one of the foundational studies of human behavior and motivation and can be found in most management and leadership books.

“The Commencement” will be released on iTunes on June 1, 2012 and in stores all across America.  It will also be released in a 2-pack release called “The Graduate’s Journey” featuring a title by the legendary Les Brown called “It’s Possible”.

“I truly cannot express the joy I have working with Bryan at Made for Success and having “The Commencement” in a package with Les Brown.  Mr. Brown is one of the legends of the personal development field and has spoken all over the world and has millions of followers.  It is truly a humbling experience,” said McCrudden.
