Vision Investment Properties Joins the Ride

May 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Vancouver, BC, May 24, 2012 -- On Sunday, June 3, 2012, the team at Vision Investment Properties (Vision) will join 13,000 bike riders for the 25th Anniversary Becel Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Corporate Bike Ride.

This special event, hosted by the Heart & Stroke Foundation, is held each year to raise funds in support of the ongoing research and program development of the Foundation. Vision’s team members will be assisting the Foundation by serving in a number of volunteer roles.

The Heart and Stroke Foundation is working to help Canadians live longer, healthier lives by focusing their efforts, including research and dedicated programs, on the prevention and eventual elimination of heart disease and stroke. The volunteer-driven organization is accomplishing its goals by advancing research and its application and promoting healthier lifestyles.

“It’s our honor to have a cause like this that we all believe in and can contribute to,” says  Manson Osmond, VP Marketing & Operations. “There’s no twisting of arms in getting our people out to help at an event like this; everyone wants to be a part of it.”

The ride will take place on June 3, 2012 from approximately 8am to 12 noon. Riders will start on Melville Street just one block north of Georgia. Riders will get to experience the thrill of riding on the Gardiner Expressway and Don Valley Parkway with absolutely no other traffic.
