VEI to Educate on How Digital Technologies are Extending the Life and Reach of Physical Events

May 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Pleasanton, CA, May 25, 2012 - Virtual Edge Institute (VEI), an organization dedicated to advancing the development and adoption of digital event and meeting technology, today announced that Michael Doyle, Founder and Executive Director, will present two key education programs at the Americas Meetings and Events Exhibition (AIBTM), which will be held in Baltimore June 19-21, 2012. AIBTM, the leading global exhibition for the U.S. incentive, business travel, meetings and events industry, brings together meetings, incentive, business and corporate planners from around the world for three days of focused business.

On Wednesday, June 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Convention Center, Doyle will join a panel of experts to discuss “The Digital Event Landscape: From Hybrid Extensions to Perpetual Environments.”  The panelists will discuss the digital event landscape and will help attendees explore how innovative digital solutions are extending the life and value of physical events. Other panel participants include Todd Helton, Director, Meetings & Conferences, American Institute of CPAs, and Mike Westcott, President, relate solutions.

On Thursday, June 21 at 2:00 p.m. Doyle will lead a session “Digital Engagement for Onsite and Remote Audiences.”  Joined by Lynn Randall, Managing Partner, Randall Insights LLC, and Evan Chapman, President, Virtual Solutions, Viva Creative, this panel will examine the critical importance of engagement at digital events, and discuss strategies and technologies for driving that engagement and connecting the on-site and remote audiences.
