Thielsch Completes High Energy Piping Assessments and Useful Life Studies for Capital Power

May 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Thielsch Engineering, Inc. announced today that it was commissioned in April to support the production initiatives of  Capital Power and its newly retained stations located in New England. The projects offered Capital Power detailed metallurgical evaluation(s) and remaining useful life assessment(s) of the high energy piping components at Rumford Station, Maine, Tiverton Station, RI, and Bridgeport Energy Station, CT.      
The completed projects were part of the spring outage season which is routine and critical to the power plants’ ability to prevent unscheduled outages, control costs, and operate at maximum capacity. The three plants produce a combined 1050 megawatts of power generation to the New England area. Capital Power is a growth-oriented North American power producer headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta.
