May 24, 2012 - PRLog -- (Beijing) This industry report covers the four major banks and three medium-sized banks in China. Company profiles include their core business activities, cash flow, financials and operational results.

Although these banks are mainly focusing their business efforts domestically, they all have major overseas shareholders who also act as strategic advisors. BlackRock, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan are among those global institutions with exposure to China’s commercial banks. Details on their equity stakes are listed in the report.

This year, banks have been encouraged to increase lending to corporations and individuals. Private lending channels are opening up, but these will take time to implement. Loans and fees remain the primary sources of revenue for all Chinese banks. As individual incomes increase, investment-related services will continue to contribute more to the banks’ overall performance.
