May 22, 2012 - PRLog -- SUNNYVALE, CA, May 22, 2012 – The popular and proven authentication solution SECUREMATRIX, offered by CSE Secure Systems (http://www.csessi.com), is now available by subscription as a cloud-based service instead of by a per-server license only, enabling companies of all sizes to effectively target their authentication security needs by office, department and user. SECUREMATRIX is single-use, allows for a vast number of combinations, combines images and numbers, prohibits easy-to-guess patterns, locks potentially compromised accounts, and easily identifies signs of fraudulent access, the system is highly secure in any situation. With the new cloud-based solution, users do not have to install servers in the office, nor is there a need to create individual user registrations or handle any other administrative work. The subscription fee is a flat, economical rate per user per month.

"We are excited to announce that our new cloud-based solution is available for small and medium size companies. Our on-premise solution has over 10 years of experience and already been adopted by more than 650 companies, including Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, banks and insurance companies. The best feature about our new solution is that companies can increase the level of security at a reasonable fee while decreasing administrative workload," said Mr. Itaru Nishimura, CEO & President of CSE Secure Systems, Inc.

“After performing all types of security tests on SECUREMATRIX, we were able to prove that SECUREMATRIX is a highly secure and easy to use solution. We also say that SECUREMATRIX system operates in an extremely stable manner,” said Professor Koichiro Isshiki, of Cal Poly Pomona University, a current customer utilizing 4,000 user licenses.

“JETRO, Japan External Trade Organization is a Japanese governmental organization that provides services to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world. JETRO uses SECUREMATRIX as a route to the web mail interface’. The system has substantially increased the level of security and decreased the administrative workload,” said Mr. Makoto Murata, Information System Division, JETRO, a current customer of CSE.

"IDC believes the future for identity and access management (IAM) products looks promising and estimates the market on the whole will grow at a CAGR of 9.4% from 2011-2015. One of the key drivers for this market is authentication requirements for mobile platforms, as employees are becoming more mobile and expect to be able to access company resources anytime and anywhere, securely and safely. Mobile access helps productivity but also creates a significant security risk for enterprises, creating a requirement for continuing access control and security in online interactions, particularly as they meet and maintain complicated and comprehensive compliance mandates around information protection. As security phishing and other malware threats are increasing, along with online fraud, basic identity credentials (simple login ID and password) are no longer sufficient to protect access to a company's internal information. Strong authentication is no longer a nice-to-have feature, it is essential for any agile enterprise and requires identity and access management systems to ensure only authorized users can access the company's confidential data," said Ms. Christine Liebert, Senior Analyst at Security services, IDC.

SECUREMATRIX is a unique, patented, and highly secure tokenless matrix authentication solution, combining patterns and images to form a one-time single use password that can be used for desktops, Windows, VPNs, intranets and extranets, web servers, ecommerce, and other network resources. SECUREMATRIX does not require a physical token, yet it is as secure as a two-factor authentication. The system consolidates all authentication policies to increase user compliance and can authenticate from remote locations in case of unforeseen circumstances.

SECUREMATRIX uses the MATRIXAUTHENTICATION solution, developed by the CSE Corporation of Japan. In the ten years since its inception, SECUREMATRIX has rapidly replaced both fixed passwords and token passwords at Japanese companies, which are known to have some of the strictest enterprise security policies in the world.
