Top marks for Forma in stylish Kent learning academy

May 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Forma 575mm diameter aluminium column casings have added to the stylish exterior at the new Cornwallis Learning Academy in Maidstone, Kent.

The academy specialises in technology and science. The design of the building is helping to enhance the education experience through the innovative concept of flexible learning plazas.

Supplied in ppc aluminium, the casings conceal structural columns – each 5500mm in height – and provide an aesthetically-attractive finish which integrates naturally with the building’s contemporary décor.

The academy has replaced the traditional classrooms and corridors with double height plazas and an emphasis on natural light and ventilation which help to create an intimate yet unconventional teaching environment.
