Enatel Motive Power wins Innovative Hi-Tech Hardware Product Award
Enatel Motive Power, a subsidiary of Christchurch based DC power and solar inverter manufacturer Enatel, won the State Government of Victoria, Australia Innovative Hardware Product Award at the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards on Friday evening.
The company's charger systems are flexible and suit almost any motive power battery and its extra high frequency power conversion technology allow its chargers to operate more efficiently at up to 95%, which means that they use around 20% less energy while being a fraction of the size and weight of traditional chargers. The reduction in power use saves money and means a smaller carbon footprint for its customers.
These intelligent high reliability chargers are based on rugged and reliable field proven telco battery charger modules that have been operating in the field for over 25 years.
“Winning this award is a great acheivement for the Enatel Motive Power team and of course a huge endorsement of the products we have developed based on our innovative XHF technology. The judges recognised that the success of the product in the market to date was due to the fact that our chargers offer a number of unique features, other than just the power savings benefits.” - Andrew Davidson, Enatel Motive Power Sales & Marketing Director.
Parent company Enatel is one of the main providers of standby DC power supplies for telecommunications and data networks globally, was a finalist for the Hi-Tech Company of the Year Award.
