Brookline, MA Condominium Sales Down, Prices Stable Q1 2012

June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- The median price of condominiums in Brookline, Massachusetts were flat in Q1 2012 while sales decreased, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only LLC, the largest exclusive buyer agent real estate firm in Massachusetts. (http://BuyersBrokersOnly.com)

Condominium sales fell 5.8 percent in Q1 2012, a difference of four sales compared to Q1 2011. The median price of condominiums declined just 1 percent in Q1 2012, a difference of $5,000 compared to Q1 2011.

The median price of single-family homes rose 10.9 percent in Q1 2012 compared to the previous year, a difference of $113,750.  Single-family home sales in Brookline, MA dropped 15.4 percent in the first quarter of 2012, a difference of four sales compared to Q1 2011.

The median price of multi-family homes decreased 21.3 percent in Q1 2012, a difference of $230,000 compared to the previous Q1. Condominium sales fell 50 percent in Q1 2012, a difference of three sales compared to Q1 2011.
