May 11, 2012 - PRLog -- S.P.O.T is an acronym for “Stimulating  Processes of Thought.” Mills is not new to the art scene. She is the founder of "Breathe to Think," an organization designed to provide an open forum from which artists display their talents and where entrepreneurs promote their services and/or products. Abdullah is an art enthusiast who incorporates his brand of business with the facilitation of the artists.

By definition art is "the use of skill and imagination in the creation of aesthetic objects, environments, or experiences that can be shared with others." It is the mission of S.P.O.T. to promote awareness of the talented individuals who are able to convey thoughts and sensations in a way that carries the viewer or listener to a place outside of themselves. Art is the universal language and at S.P.O.T. we all speak it.

On June 8, 2012 the evening will begin with a spotlight on our youth talent, 14 year old vocalist Teeghan DeNoris, a student at East Garner Magnet Middle School and 17 year old Vocalist "camille"  a Senior at Wake Forest Rolesville Hight School. Teeghan and "camille" will be the first of many youth spotlights at S.P.O.T.

The Youth Spotlight will be followed by a visual artists meet and greet. Seven of the area’s most talented emerging artists will have their artwork on display for the purpose of viewing and selling. Each artist will participate in a brief interview describing their creative process.
The visual artist meet and greet will be followed by a performing artist display which will include poets, vocalists, musicians and conscious hip hop artists.

In keeping with the theme of promoting the entrepreneur spirit, .S.P.O.T will spotlight local business owners and vendors. (Vendor opportunities are available. Visual/performing artists and vendors interested in showing/performing or vending at upcoming S.P.O.T events contact Robin Mills at millsvirtualmarketingsolutions@gmail.com.
