Conyers Nissan Reports JUKE-R will be built to order

May 10, 2012 - PRLog --   The JUKE-R was supposed to be a one-off build combining the Nissan (http://www.bobrichardsnissan.com/) Juke and GT-R, but with a lot of attention and interest in the model, Nissan has announced to build a few more. Nissan (http://www.bobrichardsnissan.com/) has already received orders for the JUKE-R to be built.

“The Juke-R was originally intended as a one-off concept to marry two of Nissan’s (http://www.bobrichardsnissan.com/) most innovative models. But the reaction we had to the car in Dubai was amazing – people were making offers for the original on the street!” Gareth Dunsmore, Marketing Product Manager for the Juke said in a released statement. “With such a strong reaction, and with three genuine offers on the table, we decided we had to make the car a reality. We can’t let down enthusiasts who are this keen to add to their collection of cars. The Juke-R has become something of a phenomenon and I’m enormously proud of the impact it has had. There will be more news to come on Juke later in the year.” The JUKE-R will feature a 3.8-liter engine and can reach up to 160 mph, in a controlled setting. The new JUKE-R will have updated drivetrains and a new chassis. The newest version will also have about 545 horsepower, not something you’d expect from such a small car.
