TMG Founders win prestigious award

May 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Debbie and Grant Thomas, co-founders of TMG The Mortgage Group have been honoured with The Mortgage Broker Association of British Columbia (MBABC) 2012 Pioneer Award for Lifetime Achievement.

The Pioneer Award is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated leadership as a member of the MBABC and promoted the mortgage brokerage industry throughout British Columbia and is the highest honour MBABC presents.

Grant and Debbie Thomas are grateful for this recognition and for the opportunities the mortgage industry has given them. “TMG will be celebrating 22 years in the industry in June and both Grant and I are honoured to be named the winners of MBABC’s prestigious Pioneer Award for Lifetime Achievement,” Debbie Thomas said. “We work in an industry that is both dynamic and challenging and we continue to learn and grow.”

“Grant and Debbie are very deserving of this award for their pioneering efforts in an industry that was in its infancy when they came on board 22 years ago,” said TMG president Mark Kerzner. “Their dedication to the industry and their people coupled with their family values approach to business keeps TMG strong and growing.”

The award was presented at the MBABC Gala Awards Luncheon on May 8 at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver during its 10th Annual Conference & Trade Show.
