Frank Sinatra, the latest "Singing Legend" on sampod4u.com
-- With over 163 hit singles and over 61 studio albums, Frank Sinatra became a musical legend in his own time. His music and artistry spanned the years from 1940 through 1990 when he recorded his last set of two albums, "Duets" and "Duets II", both of which were million sellers and reached the Top Ten.
Along with Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Doris Day and Elvis Presley, he mastered the music of the masters. In addition he had 50 movies in his stable of career credits. Frank was also responsible for what has come to be known as The Las Vegas Lounge Act. His name on a marquee was not necessary;
the hotels in which he performed simply stated "He's Here!" Because he so often brought his close friends with him (Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr, and others), the audiences got much more for their money when the "Rat Pack" (as they were called) were in town together.
Sampod4u.com, in its continuing series "Singing Legends", now features the vocal artistry of Frank Sinatra, the latest additon to this page which is updated weekly. Sign on and enjoy the music of Ol' Blue Eyes.
