Mightier Than Copywriting Celebrates 1500 Completed Projects
Mightier Than Copywriting is celebrating the completion of 1500 successful client copywriting jobs.
With the issue of invoice 1500 to a travel business in Sweden, Mightier Than proved that, with a little diligence and a slice of luck, copywriting businesses can prosper in these challenging times.
The agency was established in November 2003. In a remarkably successful first year, the agency worked with some stellar clients, including Hitachi, Siemens, Center Parcs and Portakabin. Client personnel inevitably changes and people move on, but Mightier Than continues to work with Hitachi to this day.
Since those early days, Mightier Than has also worked with other big names, including Honda, the Royal Bank of Scotland, Lloyds Bank, Reebok Direct and Mikey jewellery.
The copywriting agency has also developed a few specialisms. Over the years, it has worked with a number of top law firms, mainly on recruitment literature. These include Lawrence Graham, Hammonds, Berwin Leighton Paisner and Burges Salmon.
Hotels and travel have also loomed large on the order books, with a brochure and website revamp for Q Hotels and the rewriting of the website for London's Cadogan Hotel, which resulted in the hotel being fully booked. Web copy for a Thailand-based travel company and destination pages for a travel site have also taken up a lot of keyboard time.
Nigel Graber, Owner of Mightier Than, said, "People ask me what I've enjoyed most and I answer, truthfully, that I simply enjoy seeing my clients' businesses succeed - more footfall, a higher website ranking, more conversions. These are all tangible proof of the power of copywriting.
"I must admit, though, that some of the 'freebies' have been quite good fun. Clients do like you to sample their products. So I got to stay in a posh Manchester hotel and got paid to spend a day at Center Parcs, so the job does have its perks."
