Finalists were posted on the web where the general public could view their nomination information during the voting period. Between April 1 and April 20, 5,703 votes were cast for the next Office Idol. The top three winners were announced on Administrative Professionals Day, April 25, 2012. She had 2,027 votes. She is the winner of a Keurig B140, which is a single-cup coffee machine sold through FBS. Upon learning of her nomination and receipt of the $200 prize, Judy wrote in to the FBS team. “I am so grateful to Sonya Baeza for nominating me and letting our district know about the Office Idol voting. I am very humbled and honored to have the support of our wonderful District to make receiving this award possible. Thank you [Friends] for making this grateful almost retiree feel so special.” “Judy has been a wonderful smiling face for thousands of people in the community of Lancaster for over 20 years,” affirms General Sherman Jr. High Principal, Scott Burre. “She will be missed by many as she completes her last year before retirement.” Second Place winner of the $150 office chair is Christine Thomas who is an EMIS Coordinator/ Third Place winner of the $75 branded apparel shirt of her choice is Crystal Adkins who is an Accounting Assistant for P&A Industries.
