Linium’s Oracle Hyperion Experts Explain Why Oracle is #1 at Recent Collaborate 12 Conference

April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Linium’s (www.linium.com) Oracle Hyperion Experts showcased their offerings at COLLABORATE 12: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community (http://collaborate12.com) presented by The Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG), the Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG) and Quest International Users Group (Quest). The conference was held April 22-26th at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada to help users of the full family of Oracle business applications and database software gain greater value from their Oracle investments.  Oracle was recently named is #1 in the worldwide CPM (Corporate Performance Management) Suites market segment with a 29.4 percent share based on total software revenue, according to Gartner's recent "Market Share: All Software Markets, Worldwide 2011" report. Oracle continued its leadership position in the CPM market category with a growth rate of 23.2 percent in 2011, well above the industry average of 16.4 percent.

While at the conference, attendees were treated to the Linium Oracle Hyperion expert team at booth 1546, as well as to presentations given by Linium’s Vice President and Oracle ACE Director Eric Helmer.

Eric presented Under the Covers: Architecture and Internals of Hyperion EPM Fusion on Monday, April 23rd where he discussed the internals of the latest Oracle EPM version 11. Attendees learned about the EPM suite components including foundational software, shared services, architecture and data flow, as well as required system administration activities, and upgrade considerations. He also presented Modernize Your Hyperion: What’s New in Oracle EPM Infrastructure on Monday, April 23rd where he discussed  what’s new, what’s supported, and what options open to organizations when implementing an EPM project and considering Oracle Hyperion EPM Fusion edition’s dramatic “under the covers” changes.
