April 27, 2012 - PRLog -- New York, NY…USAIG welcomes long-time insured – The Williams Companies – as its launch customer in the Performance Vector PRISM program.  Williams operates two Citation X aircraft and is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Williams’ Aviation Director, Nick Verdea said “We are excited to be part of an extraordinary partnership between USAIG and PRISM.  Williams has been a long time customer of USAIG and, after evaluating what SMS program had the best fit for our needs, we looked to the PRISM program to fulfill our requirements.  We applaud the forward thinking efforts of both companies in reaching out to their customers by teaming up together through the insurance carrier’s Performance Vector program.  PRISM SMS is offered at a price that any operator can afford and fit into their budget.”

“We are thrilled to welcome The Williams Companies as the first Performance Vector PRISM Pro level customer,” said Steve Witowski, PRISM Vice President Business Aviation. “With PRISM’s unique Aviation Risk Management Online Resource (ARMOR), The Williams Companies can now access their SMS program from anywhere around the world, 24/7/365, from any computer or iPad. We applaud The Williams Companies for taking advantage of this great opportunity and look forward to working with them on their SMS program in the years to come.”

PRISM SMS products are designed to help business aircraft operators – from single aircraft operators to the largest flight department – plan, effectively implement and manage their safety management systems (SMS).  Through its Performance Vector program, USAIG makes safety training and services that meet aviation regulatory requirements and standards available to enhance the safety programs of policyholders that operate turbine-powered aircraft.  PRISM SMS offers two subscription levels – PRISM Essential and PRISM Pro.  USAIG policyholders that are eligible to participate in Performance Vector may choose either level at no charge for the first annual subscription period.  PRISM Essential subscriptions can be continued thereafter at no charge and PRISM Pro subscriptions can be continued at a substantial discount from the normal annual cost.

“It’s great to see a top tier operation like The Williams Companies benefit immediately from the partnership announced just last week bringing PRISM’s SMS services into USAIG’s Performance Vector portfolio,” said Paul S. Ratté, USAIG’s Director of Aviation Safety Programs.  “We have best in class human factors training programs available in Performance Vector, and now PRISM broadens the options available to include SMS support.  The ability to establish or enhance an existing SMS, either in paper-based form using PRISM Essential, or in a web-enabled form using PRISM Pro, while paying nothing for the first year is a highly valuable option, and we applaud The Williams Companies for being the first of our policyholders to put the new partnership to use.”
