Los Angeles, C.A. ---- Performance Poets and Spoken Word Artists Miss Quote and Emonie Love II will be showcasing their talents in an unprecedented, joint labor of love through their The Fly by Mic Diaspora Tour. This tour is anchored by community activism, volunteerism, workshops, and philanthropy. It will span across 57 countries during the course of one year. The action kicks off January 2012 in Jaipur, India. While in Jaipur, this powerful duo will be working with the international volunteer organization, Smaller Earth.

The Fly By Mic upholds the notion that artists are the creators of all civilization, with women and children as the forbearers. Although Miss Quote and Emonie Love II will be headlining the tour, they will include a floating cast of poets, singers, speakers and philanthropists.

“We made it a priority to work with local and international poets, as well as community activists, to truly capture the essence of unanimity. Our plan is not to come like a fly by night scheme. We want to leave a greater empowerment within the minds and souls of those whom we encounter; simultaneously and intrepidly fostering a paradigm shift for the greater good with prescriptive actions and collective expressions,” asserted Miss Quote.

Emonie Love II also commented: “We looked upon the world and just saw we were and what we wanted did not meet. We were helping…but our reach was limited and controlled. Right now, people need freedom, and to remember that art connects with life and pain. We found freedom.”

Miss Quote recently walked away from her position as Divisional Vice-President of Marketing and Operations in post-secondary education. She has joined forces with Emonie Love II, who is a teacher and entrepreneur. Both artists have years of experience in performance poetry, with their talents reaching national and international audiences.

Stops include, but will not be limited to, the following areas:  India, Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia, the Caribbean, South America and The United States.
