Medical Center Wine Shop Welcomes New Owners

April 17, 2012 - PRLog -- San Antonio, TX   April 17th, 2012   Ceci Barretto and Melissa Unsell, the well-known wine bloggers of Vinously Speaking (http://www.vinouslyspeaking.com), have expanded their brand by taking ownership of a Medical Center Area wine shop formerly known as ‘Wine, A Fine Wine Shop’, a wine shop where Rio de Vino Wine Bar existed a few years ago. "This is an exciting endeavor for us as we strive to ignite the urban wine culture in our great city."  says, Melissa Unsell, co-owner of the shop.   The store appeals to all wine lovers - novices and experts alike.  You'll find yourself perusing the shelves and instantly intrigued by the unique collection of bottles in the store.  "Our focus is to offer our clients selections from boutique lots of wine that most times are not offered at other high-volume retail locations," says Ceci Barretto, co-owner of the shop.  

To celebrate this special occasion, Ceci and Melissa will host a Grand Opening Celebration at the store May 10th- 12th from 2pm – 8pm with the BIG celebration occurring on Saturday, May12th.  An array of wine samples will be offered, along with live music and a possible food truck appearance. Additionally, all guests will receive 30% off their wine purchases!  Something else to look forward to after their Grand Opening is the launch of their signature wine education events. These wine events will be offered for all wine knowledge levels from wine novice to wine savvy! Ceci and Melissa are excited to grow the Vinously Speaking brand with this new storefront.  They have been blogging since 2009 and will continue to blog all things wine.  They also hope to offer wines by the glass at their store in the future.  They continue to ignite the urban wine culture by offering other services such as, bringing the wine store to you via private events and tastings, private catered events with food and wine pairings, hosting vintner dinners or wine trips, making wine recommendations for your restaurant or private event, and so much more.  Their philosophy is to make wine an un-intimidating, fun libation.  Everything Ceci and Melissa do is all about having fun, and taking snobbery out of wine culture.
