Idea Rebel and Quiksilver Team Up Once AgainIdea Rebel Creates Facebook App for Quiksilver’s Customer Appreciation Giveaway.
By: Kathryn Todd Boardshort Product Toss Facebook Contest We designed and built a Facebook experience for Quicksilver that achieved two objectives: 1) Draw attention to the launch of Quiksilver’s ‘Diamond Dobby’ Boardshort line. 2) Give away Boardshorts to Quiksilver’s dedicated customers. At 8am each day of the contest, a countdown starts, allowing the user to get a heads up as to when Quiksilver will be giving away product that day. When the contest opens users have only one hour to enter. A screen will then pop-up requesting the users information, when the user completes the form they are automatically entered. Winners either receive an email or pop-up on the contest page with their confirmation code. There are 10 winners each day.
