April 10, 2012:  Pete Welsh, Vice President of Polymedco, has donated $10,000 to the Neighborhood Health Clinic of Naples, Florida, on behalf of Polymedco, Inc.

Pete Welsh, Vice President of Polymedco, and his wife Shirley Welsh, reside in Naples, FL, and have a strong bond with the local community.

Welsh said about the donation “It is truly an honor for me to donate this small gift to the Neighborhood Health Clinic.  Non-profit clinics that provide healthcare are based 100% on donations from industry and individual philanthropy for working individuals and families who have no healthcare.  We are all proud at Polymedco to be associated with a clinic such as this that continually provides alternative ways of getting health care where no other sources are available.”
Nancy Lascheid, Co-Founder of the Neighborhood Health Clinic, said of the donation “Our sincere appreciation for your generous partnership in so many ways … The support and encouragement of Polymedco allows us to continue providing medical care for the less fortunate.  Polymedco has been a big part of helping us bring the Clinic to a higher level of care.”

The Clinic is a 501(C)3 organization that began operating in April 1999 to provide quality healthcare to low-income working, but uninsured Collier County adults, utilizing a volunteer professional staff.  Today, the Neighborhood Health Clinic continues to deliver these services in a caring and supportive environment.
