BrainSell LLC. finds new General Manager in their own backyard

April 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Finding good people to work for you is hard. Getting good people to stay working for you can be harder. Small companies run into this conundrum all the time. They find someone great, groom them, and then watch them run to larger and greener ($$) pastures. BrainSell Technologies wasn't about to let that happen.

When President and owner James Ward started thinking about who would represent his rapidly expanding company (BrainSell) in the future, there was only one logical choice. Sonja Fridell was appointed the new General Manager of BrainSell Technologies, earmarking her to become the next C-level executive on the BrainSell food chain.

"BrainSell needs to have a clear plan and not be reliant on any one person to survive thus providing continuity so that all of our team will continue to benefit from BrainSell," Said Ward.  "This is our first step toward building our future."

Fridell will remain in charge or marketing and business development, piling her new title as General Manager onto an already heaping workload. Still, James Ward isn't worried about piling too much onto her plate.

"Sonja has been relentless in constantly working to achieve excellence. I believe by starting this process, we’ll have a leader in training and thus be working on BrainSell continuity moving forward."

The transition to General Manager isn't going to be an easy one. Learning the steps to take over a business is a difficult journey for any director level employee, but Fridell is looking forward to the challenge.

"I've grown a tremendous amount with BrainSell these past few years and BrainSell continues to grow with our amazing team driving the effort," said Fridell. "I look forward to advancing the business with our tight-knit family."

BrainSell has been growing rapidly since the start of 2011. Sales and profits have continued to climb as BrainSell began acquiring companies in strategic locations through the past year. Five more companies wear the BrainSell badge in Chicago (Evenhouse Consulting), Denver (The CRM Connection, AccSoft, Sourcebusiness) and Connecticut (ReStar). The future was already very bright for BrainSell. With the promotion of Fridell to General Manager, it's gotten that much brighter.
