Crowdsourcing Week Adds Ushahidi's Juliana Rotich To Advisory Board

April 3, 2012 - PRLog -- New York / Paris / Singapore April 3rd, 2012- Crowdsourcing Week, the first ever weeklong global event designed to bring innovation and efficiency to organizations by leveraging power of «the Crowd», has announced that Ushahidi co-founder and Executive Director, Juliana Rotich, has joined its Board of Advisors.

A TED fellow, Rotich was named by the Guardian one of the Top 100 Women in Technology. Born in Kenya, she has studied in the US and worked in technology for over a decade. She co-founded Ushahidi, a web based reporting system that utilizes crowdsourced data to formulate visual map information of a crisis on a real-time basis.
As an Executive Director for Ushahidi, she manages projects and aids in the development and testing of the Ushahidi platform.

« Her joining the Board of Advisors enriches further the platform of Crowdsourcing Week.  Juliana's unique vision and knowledge of Africa will enable us to make sure we embrace the global innovation challenge, as Africa is growing to be one of the main actors in the years to come,» said  Epirot Ludvik Nekaj, CEO and Founder of Ludvik+Partners and co-founder of Crowdsourcing Week.
