KEF Media Moves to New Suburban Atlanta Headquarters

   KEF Media has relocated to a new headquarters in Smyrna, Ga., eight miles from downtown Atlanta.

   The company purchased its new 10,000 sq. ft. headquarters late last year. It will house KEF Media’s consultants, production, media relations and digital departments as well as a 1,000 sq. ft. studio.

   KEF Media moved to Atlanta from Chicago in 1993 and quickly became the southeast’s leading provider of broadcast media services to the public relations industry. Today, the company works with most major U.S. public relations firms and many national and international corporations providing services throughout the U.S. and around the world.

   “We’ve been growing and adding staff. It just made sense to finally buy a home we could call our own,” said Kevin Foley, KEF Media’s founder and chief executive officer.

   Completed in 2008 as a mixed use building, KEF Media’s new building had never been occupied before the company purchased it.

   “It was basically finished,” Foley explained. “We just made some modifications to create the ideal professional environment for our 25 employees.”

   The city of Smyrna is strategically located just outside Atlanta near two major interstate highways, 15 minutes from downtown Atlanta and 25 minutes from the city’s airport. One of KEF Media’s new neighbors is The Home Depot whose headquarters is located nearby.

   “Smyrna is in fast growing and dynamic Cobb County,” Foley said. “I moved to the county four years ago, liked what I saw and grew pretty bullish about the county’s pro business outlook.”

   KEF Media is a full-service media solutions provider specializing in television, radio, Internet and public relations services. Founded in Chicago by Foley, a former account manager with Burson-Marsteller and Ketchum, the company celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. KEF Media has satellite offices in Orlando and Charlotte.
