Root3 Automation expand their LED range of products

March 29, 2012 - PRLog -- As Root3 Automation continues to provide a high quality range of LED products, they are pleased to introduce the Meanwell range of LED Drivers into that product family.

Offering specialist advice, Root3 Automation will take the complexity out of the explanation as to how it all works.  Understanding that Light emitting diodes (LEDs) are electronic devices that change electrical energy into light energy and that it is the light that is emitted at specific wavelengths depending on the material of manufacture is what Root3 do best.

An LED driver is a self-contained power supply that has outputs matched to the electrical characteristics of your LED.  Drivers may also offer dimming by means of pulse width modulation (PWM) circuits.  These LED power supplies have high protection levels against dust and moisture making them suitable for all kind of indoor or outdoor installation of LED-related applications.

Root3 have chosen to distribute the LED Drivers manufactured by Meanwell, these LED power supplies offer universal input and a minimum 2 year warranty as standard and are of the highest quality. The most attractive and important benefit of LED lighting is it’s energy efficiency. However, in order to maximize LED lighting system efficiency and reliability, the power source must be equally energy efficient. Root3 are confident that by using the Meanwell LED power supply series they will be able to maximize both efficiency and reliability.
