March 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Promomanagers.com announced today that it will begin a free setup and ground shipping program on all promotional items being offered from Prime Line and Leed's.  The company believes this is the first such offer in the industry which will greatly simplify the ordering process.

The company notes that most providers of promotional items charge customers for the setup of each logo, shipping and additional charges for pieces shipped in excess of the original order amount.  Beginning on 3/29/12 every item on the PromoManagers site will include shipping on orders in excess of $100.  For all intents and purposes that is the entire site.  In addition the company is waiving all setup charges on regular imprints and has extended the policy of not charging for pieces shipped in excess of the actual order.  "We want to make this as easy as possible for customers.  By eliminating freight charges for regular shipping, overcharges for surplus items, and setup charges for logos we have made it easy for customers to spend exactly what their budgets allow," said Heather Simard.  "By partnering with firms we trust and that have outstanding industry ratings we are providing the best value of any promotional products provider in the marketplace."

Initially the company had run the program exclusively on custom Leed's items but some products were excluded including tumblers and chairs.  Those exclusions are being lifted effective with this launch and will included all backpacks, coolers, drinkware, jotters, pens and flashlights the company offers.  The program was well received by clients and soon others followed suit.  "But in most cases they are still charging setups and for any product shipped in excess of what was ordered," noted Heather Simard.  "When ordering from other distributors you are often agreeing to being charged for up to 10% more than you ordered, we never do that which gives our customers piece of mind."  Leed's is best known for their business products including bags, totes, USB memory sticks and pens.  The Gusto line is gradually being phased out as their sister company, Bullet Line has begun to take over that segment.  Both companies are part of the Polyconcepts line which also includes Journalbooks.

Starting last year Prime Line, a promotional supplier from Connecticut began offering new lines and expanded services to include full color imprinting.  This year they have continued to expand their product line into higher end bags and drinkware.  They are also a leader in the eco-friendly printed products market with many trinkets Made in the USA.  Subsequently PromoManagers is now offering all Primeline items with ground freight included.  Currently this includes water bottles, stress balls and tote bags but will soon be expanded to almost 500 items in total including the Built® line of fashion coolers and totes.  

All orders placed with delivery addresses within the lower 48 States qualify for the program.  Orders shipping outside of that region will be provided a discount equal to the ground shipping rates to the nearest location that is covered.  The net result for all customers is a significantly simplified purchasing model that makes it much easier to stay within predefined budgets.  "Like many other programs we've implemented we expect many of our competitors will follow suit in the coming weeks and months.  Remember to make sure they are including all charges and eliminating over-production run charges or the price comparisons will not work," said Heather Simard, VP of Sales.
