1,000 Hoodies - A Walk for Trayvon Martin

March 22, 2012 - PRLog -- On Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m., the public is invited to join the Alliance of Black Professionals as they gather at City Hall in downtown Springfield, Mass. to walk for Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old Florida resident who was shot and killed by neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman. Please wear a hoodie, wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a friend and “Stand Your Ground” for Justice. This is a peaceful family-friendly event.

About the Alliance of Black Professionals:
Based in Springfield, Massachusetts, the Alliance of Black Professionals was created to represent the region's black professional population and positively contribute to its advancement by unifying black professionals to impact civic and economic development. Members are encouraged to participate in initiatives that enhance the quality of life within their communities.
