Hatching season has begun at Atomic Lizard Ranch

March 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Atomic Lizard Ranch, a bearded dragon breeder facility has begun their new season of available bearded dragons to sell at the end of February and beginning of March with babies gradually increasing in numbers as spring turns into summer.

Available bearded dragons are ready to sell with the first groups out for 2012.   These are the Gala red phase bearded dragons, Tangerine phase bearded dragons along with the Orange phase bearded dragon.  There are also Citrus phase dragons that have just hatched and should be ready by the end of April.

Once the babies reach 2 ¼ inch snout to vent Atomic then  begins mounting the babies on their “Available” pages for viewing and selling to the public.  Normally, at 2 ¼ inch snout to vent, the babies full length is approximately 6 inches total. The full length measurement will be the one shown under each picture along with date of birth, sex and price.  On average, at this length, the babies are six to eight weeks of age. If the eggs are larger than normal, the babies can reach the six inch length a week or two ahead of the average size eggs.

As the year progresses there will be larger size bearded dragons available usually ranging in size from 6 to 10 inches, with 10 inches showing up on the available pages starting usually in October.
