Voxxi Launches New Sports Section

its growth with the launch of the sports section covering soccer, baseball, football,
basketball, boxing, as well as others sports and sport-related news.

VOXXI is committed to offering its audience the most comprehensive, wide-ranging
sports coverage whether it is European and Latin America soccer, Major League
Baseball, the NFL and the NBA, as well as Olympic sports and collegiate-level sports.

VOXXI has tapped Jose Oliveros as the new sports editor. Oliveros was the head editor
of Sports at Terra Networks for five years where he covered the 2010 World Cup in
South Africa, the 2009 NBA All-Star in Phoenix, the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the 2006
World Cup, 2007 MLS Cup in Washington D.C.

He managed a team of editors in the U.S. and Latin America and directed, organized
and developed editorial plans and online experiences for the site’s U.S. and regional
teams, which consisted of 16 countries in Latin America.

Oliveros said: “Latinos are heavy sports enthusiasts, whether it’s the passion for U.S.
sports or following one’s favorite home country teams, leagues and players, we are

will continue enhancing the sport section and grow his team with reporters and
