SyFy unveils new evil Leprechaun created by effects master Jeff Farley.

March 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The long running Leprechaun series has finally met its match in the new Leprechaun’s Revenge, airing on SyFy this St. Patrick’s Day - March 17, 2012. The horrorsphere is abuzz over this holiday horror feature starring Billy Zane (Titanic) and William Devane (24) and creature suit creator Jeff Farley’s demonic new interpretation of the classic leprechaun character.

Farley set out to create a terrifying, animalistic leprechaun in stark contrast to the campy leprechaun in the highly popular series of the same name starring Warwick Davis. "There are many creature effects artists who are given the mantle of Master, but few deserve it as much as Jeff Farley, who fully embodies the spirit of the true craftsman." Says Leprechaun’s Revenge Director, Drew Daywalt

Created by effects master Jeff Farley and played by actor/stuntman Kevin Mangold (Seabiscuit), this leprechaun already has a legion of online fans eager to see the new killer leprechaun takes his place among horror favorites.  Director Drew Daywalt, of MTV’s Death Valley, assures his audience that his leprechaun is nothing like that portrayed by Davis, sending fans to Twitter, Facebook and their favorite horror blogs in anticipation.
