Follow on Google News | Lebanon Utilities Forwarding $80,000 in Unpaid Utility Accounts to Eagle Accounts GroupEagle Accounts Group (EAGL) today announced that it was selected by Lebanon Utilities to collect past due electric, water, and wastewater accounts. EAGL has mailed letters to the debtors involved.

Eagle Accounts Group President and CEO, Chet Klene, stated that EAGL is excited to begin this relationship with Lebanon Utilities and the City of Lebanon. EAGL's proven strength and experience in managing and collecting governmental and utility debt continues to grow in 2012. EAGL collects several types of utility debt including gas, water, and electric bills for various creditors. EAGL also collects numerous governmental debt for various counties throughout the State of Indiana, which makes this relationship with Lebanon Utilities a great fit. Klene added that EAGL is able to provide resources to seek collection of past due debt that many state, county and municipal governmental agencies do not have. Successful collections add money back into the government’s budget for much needed projects. EAGL's collection agreement with Lebanon Utilities provides that EAGL will process collections at no cost to Lebanon Utilities or the City of Lebanon; fees are collected from the debtors. Klene stated that these Lebanon Utilities accounts will be collected from EAGL’s Indianapolis Indiana office. EAGL also has a Bloomington location, which opened in early 2011.
