Nicholas Trandahl celebrates the release of his first book "The Azure Wizard - A Legend of the Fallen Baronies"
March 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Upton, WY - Author Nicholas Trandahl, winner of the New Author Contest from Swyers Publishing, just released his first novel “The Azure Wizard – A Legend of the Fallen Baronies”.  In this book a young storyteller of a mountainous land in the north travels into the heart of the baronies to make something of himself. The storyteller finds himself in a tale of his own, one enveloped in adventure, danger, duty and love. At the heart of his tale glares the rebirth of Wizardcraft into the Three Baronies. As the only living wizard left in the realm, our storyteller finds himself up against impossible odds. The book can be found on Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com), the Barnes and Noble Web site (http://www.barnesandnoble.com), Smashwords Web site (http://www.smashwords.com), and on Swyers’ Web site (http://www.pamelaswyers.com).

Trandahl lives in northeast Wyoming with his girlfriend and two daughters where he works as a staff writer for a newspaper. A very active poet and writer, Trandahl was previously a soldier in the U.S. Army working in Missile Defense, but he returned home to Wyoming to pursue his passion of writing. The realms of fantasy and magic have been a feature of his stories ever since his first reading of The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien as a young boy.
