Award Show Network Expanding Shows Produced

Feb. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC - The Award Show Network is testing the show process by adding as many as three new awards shows during 2012-2013. Added to the roster of current awards shows are the Holiday Country Music Special, which will be televised, and the Education Awards. Both new shows are designed to embrace and give back to the communities they serve.

“Developing the Award Show Network to bring in or produce shows that appeal to a variety of audiences is good for everyone. These two opportunities just presented themselves, and the timing is right,” states Omar McCallop of the Award Show Network, “The holiday special is something I believe will resonate with the public during the holidays. We want to provide family entertainment, and help create memories.”

In keeping with the family entertainment theme, the Education Awards will provide an opportunity for students to nominate their favorite teachers for awards, and attend the show to see if their teacher won.

Although the third show is still being developed, there is no doubt that the host location for the show will benefit economically from the presence of the show, and that an underserved or unrecognized group of people will have an opportunity to shine. The Award Show Network is produced by O Ent, Inc., and include the already popular Carolina Music Awards and GA Music Awards.
