Lunabrite Introduces New Softer Material for It's illuminating Trims

Feb. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Lunabrite, a division of Spruce Marketing, is pleased to announce that a new softer material is now available its popular ribbon and rope trim products. The new polymer material is super soft, can be easily sewn into fabrics, and is machine washable, and will air dry. It adds a bright, long lasting glow to enhance safety and design to many design concepts.

According to Lunabrite President, Barb Sommer, “We are so pleased to be able to offer a nightglow product whose material, is CPSIA complaint, non-toxic, and completely safe for children and pets as well as both in and around water. “  

The product, which is currently available in a multitude of colors, charges with exposure to any light in just 5-30 minutes and illuminates for 8+ hours.  Independent studies show Lunabrite is brighter and lasts longer than other glow materials on the market. Lunabrite trims are also ideal for night visibility applications and easily incorporated into fabrics and textiles projects.  

Sommer stated the new softer product expands the many possibilities for use being developed by designers across a broad spectrum of industries.   Sommer added, “We welcome the creativity of designers and know that many creative uses for our product have yet to be realized.  There are so many vehicles for Lunabrite’s use”.

The new product, as Sommer noted, is currently available in the smallest size trim (1/8” outer diameter), and will soon to be available in Medium size trim (3/16” outer diameter).  All Lunabrite rope trim is available in 25-foot and 100-foot rolls.
